A Maths Dictionary for Kids: Pie Graph or Chart, Percent, Degree, Sector, Protractor, Bar Graph, & Axis
A Maths Dictionary for Kids is a comprehensive, interactive, online dictionary full of nearly all relevant math terms. Navigate through the dictionary to find definitions for Pie Graph (what this dictionary calls a Circle Graph) Percent, Degree, Sector, Protractor, Bar Graph, & Axis.
NLVM: Bar Chart
The NLVM: Bar Chart allows the user to create colorful bar graphs by simply clicking in the box that would produce the desired height for the column. Customizable features include increasing/decreasing the number of columns/rows, and the ability to label the title of the graph and each column heading. The option is also available to switch to Totals View and view the value of each column, or Percentage View and view the percentage of the whole that each bar represents.
Shodor Interactive: Bar Graph
The Shodor Interactive: Bar Graph is a great tool to create vertical bar graphs. You can input a title for your graph and each axis, enter custom data into the text field or choose a pre-made set of data from the "Choose a data set" drop-down menu, and the application creates a graph based on the data provided.
Ambleside Primary School: Grapher
The Ambleside: Grapher allows the user to manipulate the labels, titles, Y-Axis number values, and "data" of each column. Data values can be lengthened and shortened to represent a change in data. The interface is very color rich and the text size increases as the window size increases, creating a very visually comfortable environment.
Shodor Interactive: Circle Graph
The Shodor Interactive: Circle Graph is a simple, quick way to visualize the data you have collected. Input your data and a label title (separated by a comma) into the text box, and the application will generate a graph proportional to the data you input, as well as a color key.

InspireData (Win/Mac)
InspireData is a graphically rich, manipulatable environment in which to explore data. Data can be represented in a standard table form, or you can watch the data come alive using the Venn Diagram, Stack, Axis, or Pie Plots. Data collection is simple as well, with the use of the Survey tool or by importing data from an existing database. Version 1.5 allows the posting of e-Surveys online to collect data from a computer with Internet Access.
Graph Master Deluxe (Win/Mac)
Graph Master Deluxe is a powerful, easy-to-use data analysis tool. Students can collect and enter their own data or import it from tables, spreadsheets, or the Internet. Choose from bar, circle, and line graphs, histograms, pictographs, line plots and much more, to create the desired display of your data. Compare the same data in multiple graphical representations; view related data side by side; and begin to understand the data, in order to answer questions or draw conclusions; log your conclusions in the on-screen notebook. Data can be printed in a variety of formats or the students can copy graph images to use in reports, slide shows, or on a web site.
The Graph Club 2.0 Deluxe (Win/Mac)
The Graph Club 2.0 helps to create graphs, and analyze the data to understand the correlation between two data representation - making it a great tool to transition from graphing concrete objects and moving into more abstract representations. Users can begin with a blank graph, and as they drag concrete objects onto the graph, a related graph updates to show this representation in a more standard form. Users can add text or audio notes using the notebook tool to describe what they learned and understood. As many as 5 of these customized graphs can be printed on a single page, to reinforce the representation of the data in multiple formats.
