Meeting the Needs of High School students
- Getting our blind/vi students to use accommodations in classroom and home
- Educating all teachers working with students to follow through with the use of accommodations as specified in the IEP
NIMAS
- Educate school personnel about using NIMAS-derived materials for transition-age students.
- Research the disconnect between the accommodations for NIMAS and accommodations for FCAT
Technology Competencies
- List activities needed to improve skills in specific areas
- Develop basic PowerPoints for anyone to access and use
- Workgroup will focus on technology needed to access NIMAS-derived materials
